Class Descriptions

Mystery Sports "Morning"

Come join Huddle Up Sports and get ready to have a good time. This is the first ever afters class that takes place BEFORE SCHOOL!!!! Recent studies suggest that physical activity in the morning stimulates concentration and enhances academic improvement. Some choices will include kickball, wiffle ball, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and golf. Every student who signs up for at least one huddle up sports after will get a T-shirt

Recess Games

Come join Huddle Up Sports to play some organized recess games. Some of the games include capture the flag, running bases, spud, asteroids (similar but safer version of dodgeball), and kick the can. Huddle up sports will provide t-shirts for each student who signs up for at least one class.

Floor Hockey

Come join Huddle Up Sports to play an exciting game of floor hockey. Students will learn stick handling, slap shots, as well as other shooting and defensive skills. Then the coaches will split the students up and play a fun-filled game of hockey, where the students will shoot and score! The main goal is for the students to have fun and learn the sport, while playing with safe equipment. Every student who signs up for at least one huddle up sports after will get a T-shirt.

Soccer

Come join Huddle Up Sports for a kicking good time of soccer. Students will learn skills like dribbling the ball, passing and sharing the ball, shooting and many different trapping and zone defenses. It is important for the students to learn teamwork and sportsmanship in a game of soccer. The main goal of this program is for the students to have fun, and get a great fitness workout. Huddle Up Sports will provide each child with a t-shirt.

Ultimate Frisbee

Come join Huddle Up Sports to play Ultimate Frisbee. Students will learn different skills of throwing the Frisbee and learn new fun games, like Frisbee distance and accuracy games. Then the students will be spilt up into teams and will play an exciting game with the emphasis on having fun not winning! Every student who signs up for at least one huddle up sports after will get a T-shirt.

Dodgeball

Come join Huddle Up Sports for a game of dodgeball. Students will use soft yarn balls for their safety. Learn other games like Star Wars, Alien Nation, and Peek-A-Boo, that will keep the students excited throughout the whole session. Every student who signs up for at least one huddle up sports after will get a T-shirt!

Sports Variety Program

Do you love sports so much you can’t choose which program to join? Then you'll love Sports Variety! In this afters class, students will play a different game each week. The games will include: wiffle-ball, kickball, flag football, capture the flag, dodgeball, floor hockey, soccer, and recess games. Coaches we'll work on teamwork, sportsmanship and fitness, all while having FUN. Be the ultimate athlete, every student who signs up for at least one huddle up sports after will get a T-shirt.
